I bet everyone is very aware of the eyeballs in their heads. Those of us lucky enough not to have spikes pierced through our heads were treated to a hilarious third episodenight devil, a — mostly — departure from the normal brute force routine for more legal drama, which makes sense. Matt Murdoch is a lawyer after all. Time to see a lawyer.

Apart from a few extraneous episodes, the third hournight devilstructurally withlaw and order, with the case that Nelson & Murdock will eventually take on. In this example, we see a man named Healey, an obvious bowler, trying to join a well-protected bowler that Prohaszka is playing at the moment. It turns out that Healy is also a martial arts fan, and he wants to break people's bones and hit people in the head with a bowling ball because that's what he did to Prohaszka, then hide his bad gun in a nearby pinball machine and declare. , "I want a lawyer."

One of the lawyers he was lucky enough to hire, Matt, is currently struggling with his own ethics. While sitting outside the church, he was approached by Father Rantom, whom he confessed to the priest in the first episode. Rantom wants to talk about Matt's recent struggles over a latte, but the lawyer has to go back to his office and avoid pointed questions about what he does at night.

But the person who was happy to ask what Matt was doing was Ben Urich, a newspaper reporter withThe long history of the Marvel Universe.Ben intercedes with a source, a man named Silvio, who has vague ties to the criminal world, and the name toobeen in the comics for a while.someone is taking out all the electricity in the town, and it freaks Silvio out. Rigaletto, the former holder of Mr. Farnum's debt, is no longer around, and Silvio has not remained in New York to settle the case. Urich suspects the Russians did it, but Silvio gives him another piece of advice: don't look around.

Unfortunately for the law firm of Nelson & Murdock, the mysterious criminal force came knocking on their door at Wesley's predecessor. After opening a file on them at the behest of his employer, he offered a large sum of money to keep the practice going. The zero on the check convinced Foggy, but Matt had too many questions about his employer, Wesley, and why he happened to know so much about Karen's past at Union Allied, even though the police never pressed charges. As a way to meet potential business partners, Wesley gave them Healey's case as a test drive. Matt, a little skeptical, followed his potential employer outside to the sound of his watch – it was really cool. The suit got into one of three waiting SUVs and called to say, "It's been taken care of." Wesley's shady departure combined with blood soaking Matt's shirt was enough to make him worry about his Daredevil. The jokes catch up with him.

At the police station, Matt enters the interrogation room shortly after Foggy starts talking to Healy. The guy couldn't have been sketchier, asking which version of his story sounded better to the jury, but even after Foggy expressed some hesitation about representing the mob, Matt agreed. He needs to know more about Healy and why a conglomerate represents him. The whole interview turned into a kind of interrogation, and the accused noticed it. Sensing that the tide had turned, Healy informed his lawyers that they would stand trial, that he would not testify, and confidently placed his fate in the hands of the jury.

Next: Appreciate art with Wilson Fisk

Meanwhile, Karen has moral issues of her own. After receiving a probate letter from Union Allied, the former employee met with a lawyer. The company offered to pay her for six months if she agreed not to discuss the corrupt practices she discovered while working for the company. This effectively means that Danny Fisher's death will be covered up and never solved, which doesn't sit well with Karen. Looking for an ally, she seeks out Fisher's wife, who is on the road. According to Mrs Fisher, her late husband - who she knew was completely loyal - shared Karen's drive for justice, for which he gave everything. This meeting has definitely made Karen question her role in an unjust society, which is exactly what Matt is currently struggling with.

In the courtroom where Healey was sentenced, Fudge explained to jurors that New York law requires the prosecution to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that his client went beyond self-defense when he killed Prohazka. Matt listened carefully to the jury's heartbeat during his presentation and found what he was looking for. One of the jurors has an elevated heart rate, which Matt interprets as anxiety from an outside source, and he's right because he's Daredevil. As the jurors were on their way home, a poor man reminded her that the whole ordeal would soon be over. After a few punches, the thug explains to Matt that his employer—whoever that is—is blackmailing jurors with an inappropriate video she made not too long ago that she fears her children will see. A longtime supporter of sexual freedom and youthful self-expression, Matt told the mob jurors they needed to get herself fired, which she did.

Although the well-choreographed fight scenes have been a highlight of the series so far, I'm glad that there are three episodes, night devilWould like to take a little break so we can have more philosophy-focused time. As a lawyer and vigilante, Matt's strict ties to morality pose interesting questions for the series to answer, and we're starting to see not only the story deal with issues related to Daredevil, but almost everyone struggles with this. Karen's story is especially interesting because it's not something you immediately see from a superhero show, but we get to see this intelligent, complex female character who has her own motives and desires. Making Ben Urich a more central character will only help move this story forward.

That said, we see a nasty fight scene after the pending jury release of Healy. Matt wants to find out what his deal is once and for all, so he decides to dress up as a ninja and beat him up in the alley. Since Healy is not to be messed with, the fight scenes are naturally brutal, with Matt basically torturing his former client with shards of glass. Healy suffered so much that he gave up the one name he really should have kept to himself: his employer, Wilson Fisk.

What happened next was pretty disgusting (too graphic for the show in my opinion) and made it very clear, no,night devilReally not for kids. Since Matt has no intention of killing Healy, the bully has to do it himself – or should I say, right into his own eyes? If the writers of the show want to emphasize it (no pun intended), well, Wilson Fisk is not a man to mess with, they already did, and I really appreciate how they handled Vincent D'Onofrio's first feature as well. as an opaque appearance like the Kingpin, he explained that the painting he examined in the gallery left him feeling "alone". He could have said anything back then, but "Alone" really wrapped up the episode and left us wondering what made this super-powered guy tick.
